Dr. Keyton was named as co-editor with Dr. Aaron Brower, University of Michigan, in 2008. Both Brower and Keyton edited the journal through 2021. Before that she served as one of the journal's Associate Editors during 2006-2007. Before that, Dr. Keyton was a member of the editorial board from 1990-2005.

In 2022, new editors--Dennis Kivlighan and Lyn Van Swol------were appointed.
